The Training Academy (TA) has been established to replace the Instructor Certification Seminar (ICS). Everyone desiring to extend their CI status, or become a CI, must attend a Training Academy (TA). The following are the dates for TAs scheduled the remainder of this year:

Ohio	June 29/30	Radiant Life A/G, Dublin, Ohio
Kentucky	August 10/11	Probably in Radcliff
Illinois	September 7/8
Michigan	October 19/20
Indiana	November 2/3	Probably in Indianapolis

You may attend any date. We will post exact locations as soon as they are available. All TAs will begin at 6 pm on Friday of the scheduled week-end and will end at 5 pm on Saturday. Overnight accommodations will be available at the training site. The cost of the event will be determined after registration for each event. No meals are provided.
The schedule for future NRMCs and WCOs is as follows:

The process begins with taking an open resource pre-test. This requires several hours of study of the new material and should be completed a month before you attend the TA. You will be given some hints to help studying go smoothly. Don’t delay in contacting your District Training Coordinator to obtain the Application.

Upon passing the pre-test you will receive an assignment for your demonstration teaching session. This assignment will come from a standard session of Ranger Basics.

Both of these steps will be completed through a special website. This website also includes uniform guides for the both uniforms that are permitted at the TA.

The TA will follow the following outline:
Friday
Registration and classroom instruction

Saturday
Morning is classroom instruction and uniform inspection

Afternoon is demonstration teaching and exit exam.

Please give yourself plenty of time to complete the pre-test and practice your teaching assignment.
